Investment process
We review the available capital, preferred city, restaurant experience and the role the investor plans to take in the business.
Operating or planned businesses are screened for options that fit the investor's budget, preferred city and way of working.
For an operating business, sales, costs, lease terms, equipment, agreements, liabilities and working-capital needs are reviewed.
The investor reviews the company, shareholder rights and agreements with their own lawyer, accountant or other independent advisers.
The ownership share, price, payment schedule, working capital, decision rights, responsibilities and handover terms are agreed in writing.
According to the agreement, training, system access, supplier connections, reporting routines and day-to-day operating responsibilities are put in place.
Entrepreneurship in Finland
Retroo Company does not issue, sell or provide residence permits. Buying shares in a Finnish company or making an investment does not by itself create a right to a residence permit. A person who meets the requirements may submit a separate entrepreneur residence permit application to Migri in their own name.
Providing capital or owning shares alone is not sufficient.
The applicant must actually work in their own company in Finland.
The business must be profitable and the applicant's means of support must be secured by business income.
Ownership, management, registration and general permit requirements applicable to the company type must also be met.
Migri makes the final residence permit decision. Retroo Company does not guarantee a positive decision, processing time or outcome. This is general information, not legal or immigration advice.
